Product description
COLOIDAL FORMULA - ATLAS NKP primer is an intelligent colloidal combination of polymer particles of different types and sizes, recognising the substrate to which it is applied.
As required:
- deeply penetrates the porous substrate structure, reinforcing it,
- has a surface action that effectively reduces the absorbency of the substrate and prepares it for the application of subsequent coats.
ADAPTABLE TO ANY SUBSTRATE - the intelligent colloidal structure of the primer, created by dispersing polymer particles of different sizes, allows the primer to be used without dilution on all absorbent substrates and under any type of finishing coat.
STRONGLY PENETRATES AND STRENGTHENS THE SUBSTRATE -
gel primer with increased viscosity forms a layer several tens of µm thick on the surface immediately after application. The primer, accumulated on the surface, systematically and deeply penetrates the structure of the mineral substrate, strengthens it and increases the adhesion of subsequent layers.
DOES NOT SHINE THE SURFACE - a colloidal combination of polymer dispersions with different particle sizes, makes the surface non-shiny and satin matt after drying. The primer does not leave an elastic film on the surface that could cause difficulties in applying subsequent coats.
NO STREAKING - the gel-like consistency of the product allows perfect application with a roller, brush or sprayer, without the formation of streaks.

Properties
- No dripping during application - it is a gel-like product ready to use without dilution with water. In undiluted form, it allows application without the unpleasant effect of dripping and splashing, which is important especially when applying the primer to a wall or ceiling
The colloidal combination of polymer resins and specially selected thickeners allows:
- applying 2x more product onto the tool than with standard primers, allowing 2x more surface area to be primed at once,
- faster application - eliminating the need for frequent refilling of the product on the tool,
- cleaner work - without protecting the surface from contamination and splashing of the primer during application (the gel consistency of the primer significantly reduces splashing, also when priming ceilings).
Express performance - proceeding with further work is possible after:
- 15 minutes - under tile bonding on cementitious substrates,
- 30 minutes - under dry-mix or dispersion top finish, plastering, tile bonding on anhydrite substrates,
- 60 minutes - under painting, wallpaper adhesives, water-based carpet adhesives, dispersion waterproofing,
- 90 minutes - in the case of wall preparation for ETICS systems,
- 120 minutes - under screeds and floors.
