Jubilee of the International Festival of Comics and Games with ATLAS

This weekend, 3 – 5 October 2014, the jubilee 25th edition of the International Festival of Comics and Games in Łódź is to be held. Once again the main sponsor of the event is ATLAS Group, the biggest Polish manufacturer of construction chemicals.

Similarly to the previous year, the festival center is located in ATLAS Arena, which will be visited by guests from Poland and abroad. International stars of comics and games have confirmed their attendance, i.e. Grzegorz Rosiński, author of illustrations for “Thorgal”, graphic stories writer Jean Van Hamme, creator of the series „Rork” – Andreas Martens and Sound Tropez – editor of audiobooks prepared, i.e. on the basis of “Living Dead” and “Conan”.

For the festival weekend ATLAS Group prepared a range of additional attractions for the event participants. At the kids zone of ATLAS Arena a course of workshops conducted by known artists will be held. On Saturday, 1.00 pm – 4.00 pm, classes of drawing are to be supervised by graphics from Egmont Poland, including Przemysław Surma, Jakub Grochola and Krzysztof Budziejewski. On Sunday, from 12.00, the youngest ones will have the opportunity to participate in comics workshops led by Agata Komorowska and Grzegorz Nowicki.

For the young event participants, at ATLAS zone, games and contests with awards, i.e. plush storks, baloons and coloring books, will await.
