RENOVATOR USED FOR DISCOLOURED, DIRTY AND FADED GROUTS OR TO CHANGE GROUT COLOUR
FOR INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL USE
| ATLAS FUGERO is designed for renovation of mineral grouts of wall and floor ceramic tiles (glazed tiles, terracotta, gres tiles, clinker, china mosaics). ATLAS FUGERO can be used chiefly for renovation and restoring the colours of existing, discoloured, dirty or faded grouts or other grouts with blooms. It can also be used for changing colours of new or existing grouts. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. |
| ATLAS FUGERO is based on high-quality polymer binder, fillers and modifying agents. It is characterised by very good adhesion to mineral grouts, high coverage degree, high abrasion resistance. It is very water-proof. It can be used throughout its whole shelf life i.e. in 24 months from the production date. ATLAS FUGERO is available in white, light grey and light beige. |
| Before commencing work, carefully degrease, and remove dust, bloom and any dirt from grouts. The following can be used for cleaning: ATLAS SZOP (cement remains) or ATLAS SZOP 2000 (polymer dispersion contaminations), in accordance with their application methods. In case of organic bloom (fungi or algae), use ATLAS MYKOS beforehand. After application of cleaning agents, wash the surface with clean water and wait until dry. The renovator may discolour excessively absorbent tiles. Therefore, try using the renovator on a small hidden section of tiles If tiles become discoloured, appropriately protect tile edges before renovator application e.g. by sticking protective tapes. |
| ATLAS FUGERO is a ready-to-use homogenous product. It may not be combined with other materials, diluted or thickened. Having opened the container, mix its contents until homogenous. |
| Apply ATLAS FUGERO once, evenly on dry grouts using a small brush or sponge (included in the kit), going slightly beyond tile edges. In case of colour change or if grouts are slightly cracked, two layers of the renovator may be required. Remove the renovator from tiles using a sponge during work or after initial drying i.e. after ca. 30 minutes. Surface containing renovated grouts can be used after ca. 12 hours. Note: due to the possibility of appearance of small differences in colour, it is recommended to use a renovator of the same production date and batch number in a given place. During work and in the initial period of renovator application (ca. 24 hours), avoid excessive drying and contact with water. The information comprises basic instructions of product application and does not relieve users of responsibility for work in accordance with good construction practice and OHS regulations. |
| Consumption depends on joint width and depth, and what type of tiles is applied. For example, 250 ml of renovator is sufficient for ca. 15 m2 of 30x30 cm ceramic tiles, with joints of 3 mm in width. |
| Small brush for renovator application and sponge for removing remainder of renovator. |
The kit includes a 250 ml plastic container with the renovator, a small brush and a sponge.
