| ATLAS UNI-GRUNT PLUS is designed for priming and strengthening all absorbent, excessively absorptive and weakened substrates of concrete, cement and plaster intended as floor and subfloor. ATLAS UNI-GRUNT PLUS prevents air bubble formation in the subfloor layer and reduces absorption of water into the substrate. Use ATLAS UNI-GRUNT PLUS emulsion on dry substrates. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor. |
| ATLAS UNI-GRUNT PLUS is designed for priming. It is based on top-quality water acrylic dispersion. Due to its considerable penetration ability, it penetrates well even through substrates, strengthening them and ensuring uniform parameters of the whole surface on which the emulsion is applied. The emulsion regulates the process of the absorptivity of substrate and prevents removal of excessive amount of water from layers applied on the emulsion e.g. finishing coats, tile adhesives, subfloors, etc. Therefore, ATLAS UNI-GRUNT improves subfloors setting conditions and contributes to their resistance parameters. It is non-saponifiable during application. The emulsion is transparent when dry and is permeable for water vapour. It is non-flammable and can be used in rooms without windows. The primed surface (after completely dried) is resistant to temperatures ranging from -20°C to +80°C. |
| The substrate should be dry and free from dust, dirt, oil, grease and wax. Remove all loose layers inappropriately adherent to the substrate before emulsion application. |
| ATLAS UNI-GRUNT PLUS is a ready-to-use emulsion. It may not be combined with other materials, diluted or thickened. |
| Apply one layer of undiluted ATLAS UNI-GRUNT PLUS over the substrate with a roller or paintbrush to form a thin and even coat. On very absorptive and mouldy substrates, the emulsion should be applied once again cross-wise to the first layer. The surface can be used (to prepare floor, prime coats, fix tiles, etc.) after the emulsion dries, not earlier, however, than after 6 hours from application.
The information comprises basic instructions of product application and do not relieve users of responsibility for work in accordance with good construction practice and OHS regulations. |
| On average, 0.05÷0.2 kg of emulsion is used for 1 m2. In practice consumption depends on how absorptive the substrate is. |
| Roller or paintbrush Wash the tools with clean water directly after use. |
