QUICK-SETTING ASSEMBLY MORTAR FOR ANCHORS OF STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS AND GROUT PREPARATION

FOR INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL USE

USE
ATLAS MONTER T-15 is a quick-setting type of cement mortar designed for anchoring structural elements. It is also suitable for the preparation of grouts and filling in small defects in concrete rough floors and subfloors. It is particularly suitable for fixing anchors, steel, concrete and ferroconcrete elements in walls, concrete and ferroconcrete. It is particularly recommended if the technological cycle or safety reasons require quick, reliable and stable element assembly. ATLAS MONTER is perfect for e.g. fixing balcony railings, stairs railings, fire ladders, fence posts, anchor bolts, light steel constructions, for example billboard frames. Preparation of grouts using ATLAS MONTER is recommended if accurate set-up of machines, beams, guides or pillars in concrete substrate is required. Due to semi-liquid consistency, it is recommended only for horizontal surfaces. In individual cases, it can be used on vertical surfaces e.g. walls, but only if any holes or gaps are secured against mortar outflow, enabling the mass to fill in the space completely. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
PROPERTIES
ATLAS MONTER T-15 is a ready-to-use type of dry mix based on top-quality cement binder, quartz fillers and improvers. Its main features are very good adhesion to substrate and very low linear contraction. It is easy to use. Fluid consistency enables accurate space filling e.g. between walls of a hole and an anchored element. It has very good technical properties after complete setting and quick strength build-up. ATLAS MONTER is frost- and water-proof.
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
The substrate should be structurally sound and free from anything that may weaken mortar adhesion, particularly dust, dirt, lime, oil, wax. The same applies to anchored elements i.e. rust and existing paint coatings are to be removed. To reduce absorption, moist surface of the substrate and of the anchored element (if made of concrete or ferroconcrete).
MORTAR PREPARATION
In order to prepare the mortar, pour dry mortar into a container with suitable amount of water (in proportion: 0.12÷0.13 l water for 1 kg of dry mixture) and mix until homogenous. It is best to mix it mechanically, using a drill with a mixer. It maintains its properties for ca. 15 minutes.
APPLICATION
Application
The size of the filled clearance between walls and the anchored element as well as grout thickness should be 20÷50 mm. In justified cases e.g. grout preparation, the area should be boarded. First place the element to be anchored in an opening or groove and stabilise appropriately so it does not shift. Fill in the free space around the element with ATLAS MONTER. Note: do not change the location of the anchored element when the mortar is setting. The information comprises basic instructions of product application and does not relieve users of responsibility for work in accordance with good construction practice and OHS regulations.
CONSUMPTION
2 kg of dry mix is sufficient to obtain 1 l of filling mass.
TOOLS
Drill with a mixer, trowel or float made of steel. Wash the tools with clean water directly after use. Clean the remainder of the set mortar, that is difficult to remove, with ATLAS SZOP.
PACKAGING
Paper bags: 5 kg, 25 kg
Pallet: 1100 kg in 5 kg bags, 1050 kg in 25 kg bags
STORAGE & TRANSPORT
Store and transport in tightly closed bags, in dry conditions (pallets are particularly recommended). Keep dry. Shelf life in conditions complying with the requirements is 12 months from the date on the packaging.
