PROTECTIVE AGENT FOR NON-GLAZED TILES AND JOINTS,
PROTECTION AGAINST STAINS CAUSED BY WATER, OIL AND GREASE
FOR INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL USE
| ATLAS DELFIN is designed for impregnation and protection of surfaces of increased absorptivity. It is recommended for non-glazed ceramic, stone and other surfaces as well as surfaces made of cement mortars (e.g. joints). Without proper impregnation, surfaces of this kind are not resistant to contamination (for example oil, fat, coffee, tea and water). ATLAS DELFIN provides permanent protection from the contamination. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. |
| ATLAS DELFIN is a ready-to-use water acrylic dispersion. It is efficient, convenient and easy to use. ATLAS DELFIN is transparent when dry, and provides slight gloss to non-glazed tiles and fresh appearance to existing matt tiles. Due to its considerable penetration ability it penetrates the top tile layer, creating a permanent protective coat on tile surface and facilitating maintenance. The floor can be charged with heavy load and is resistant to all commonly used cleaning agents. ATLAS DELFIN is frost-proof. Applied on the surface, it is resistant to temperatures ranging from -20°C to +80°C. |
| The substrate should be dry and free from anything that may impede adhesion of ATLAS DEFLIN, in particular dust, dirt, oil, grease and wax. When tiles have been fixed and grouting have been carried out, clean the surface using special agents or water only. Remove the remainder of cement with ATLAS SZOP. |
| ATLAS DELFIN is a ready-to-use emulsion. It may not be combined with other materials, diluted or condensed. |
Apply undiluted ATLAS DELFIN over the substrate with a sponge or paintbrush to form a thin and even coat. Do not leave pools! On more absorptive substrates, after ca. 30 minutes of drying, apply the liquid again, cross-wise to the first layer. Floor can be used not earlier than 24 hours after emulsion application. Joints can be traded when they have hardened, applying the liquid with a thin paintbrush 2 weeks after pointing.
The information comprises basic instructions of product application and do not relieve users of responsibility for work in accordance with good construction practice and OHS regulations. |
| On average, 1 kg of emulsion is used for ca. 15÷20 m2. In practice consumption depends on how absorptive the substrate is and what kind of ceramic material is applied. |
| Sponge or paintbrush. Wash the tools with clean water directly after use. To remove the remainder of ATLAS DELFIN emulsion, use ATLAS SZOP 2000. |
