SETTING AND DRYING ACCELERATOR FOR RENDERS AND DISPERSION PAINTS FOR USE AT TEMPERATURES ABOVE 0°C
| ATLAS ESKIMO speeds up the process of setting and drying of dispersion products: plasters and paints during building work carried out at low temperatures and increased air humidity. It can be used with ATLAS CERMIT acrylic renders, ATLAS DEKO M mosaic renders, ATLAS SILKAT silicate renders, ATLAS SILKON silicone renders, as well as with ATLAS ARKOL E acrylic paints, ATLAS ARKOL S silicate paints, ATLAS ARKOL N and ATLAS FASTEL silicone paints. ATLAS ESKIMO can be used indoors or outdoors |
| ATLAS ESKIMO is a colourless liquid with an odour resembling ether. It accelerates the first stage in the process of setting of dispersion products, i.e. the evaporation of water from the material applied to a surface. As a result, the second stage, that is, binder curing and drying, can commence earlier, and the coat develops weather resistance more rapidly. The use of ATLAS ESKIMO does not reduce product strength or performance, nor does it affect the final colour of render or paint coat. |
| The product should be added to the render or paint directly before use. The correct proportions are essential: ATLAS ESKIMO should make up a maximum of 1% per weight, i.e. a maximum of 0.25 kg (a whole bottle) for a 25 kg container of render and a maximum of 0.15 kg (3/5 of a bottle) for a 10-litre container of paint or 15 kg of render. Mix thoroughly, by hand or mechanically, and then begin application. The substrate to receive render or paint must not be frozen. Recommended temperature of application is between 0 and +10°C. Freshly applied material develops resistance to precipitation after ca. 6-8 hours, depending on the ambient temperature and humidity. The above information constitutes basic guidelines on product use and does not relieve users of the obligation to work in accordance with good practice and health and safety (OHS) regulations. |
