for protection and decoration of facades
Recommended for fresh plasters – enables painting mineral thin-coat plasters after 5 days of their application.
Can be used for decorative and protective painting.
Types of painted substrates – cement plasters, cement-lime plasters, thin-coat mineral and dispersion plasters, gypsum plaster and finish, plasterboard, rough walls of concrete, brick, blocks, and ceramic or silicate hollow brick.
Types of painted buildings – residential, detached houses, apartment buildings, industrial, public, commercial. |

Hybrid paint – due to the combination of binders, it joins the advantages of silicate and dispersion paints: high elasticity, perfect vapor permeability, low absorptiveness, and resistance to abrasion.
Vapor permeable – Creates micro-porous structure, providing free transport of water vapor.
Elastic – high resistance to cracks and scratches, compensates strain resulting from different heat expansion of the layers beneath – suitable for surfaces exposed to heavy thermal and functional load.
PEARL EFFECT – water absorptivity reduced to the minimum – the application of hydrophobic molecules and silicone and siloxane polymer formula gives the surface hydrophobic properties and protects the wall against soaking.
Protected by MYCO BARRIER system – contains biocides limiting the development of fungi and algae on the surface of the paint.
“Self-cleaning” – dirt and dust are washed down by the rainfall.
Reduces scaffold working costs – shortens the time before the application of the mineral render and its painting.
Perfect functional parameters – it is resistant to ageing, changing atmospheric conditions, aggressive components in the substrate and the natural environment, and UV rays.
Application in lowered temperatures (from 0 °C) and elevated humidity (up to ca. 80%) – after adding ATLAS ESKIMO agent.
695 colors – according to ATLAS NEW COLOR PALETTE, matching the color palette of SILKON silicone plasters |

The substrate should be dry, stable, even and structurally sound i.e. strong enough, and free from layers that may weaken paint adhesion, in particular dust, dirt, wax, and grease. Carefully remove any old paints and other layers of weak adhesion to the substrate, and dispersion paint coat, and repair and fill small defects (e.g. cracks or cavities). Substrates of low absorbability and fresh thin-coat renders do not require additional priming. Old renders and other substrates of high absorbability must be primed with ATLAS ARKOL NX emulsion.
Renders can be painted after they have set completely, not earlier than:
for mineral plasters ATLAS CERMIT SN, DR, SN-MAL – after 5 days,
for acrylic plasters ATLAS CERMIT N and R – after 7 days,
traditional plasters – after 2 – 4 weeks. |
 |
| The paint is delivered in the ready to use form. Mix well before use in order to homogenize the consistency. Mechanical mixing with slow drill with a mixer is recommended. The paint must not be combined with other materials.
Paint dilution
For the first painting coat, particularly for substrates with well defined texture, e.g. thin-coat plasters, the maximum of 2% of clear water can be used (1 glass of 200 ml to 10 l paint container). Maintain the same dilution ratio for the whole painted surface. For the final painting, use undiluted paint.

Apply the paint in the form of a thin and even layer, not earlier than after 6 hours from priming the substrate. The painting can be done with a roller, a brush, or by spraying. For the first layer, so-called pre-coat, applied on textured plasters, we recommend using the paint diluted in the proportion described above. The next layer can be applied not earlier than after 6 in a direction perpendicular to the previous one. Technological breaks in painting have to be planned in advance, e.g. in the corners and angles of the building, under rainwater pipes, or place of contact of two colors, etc. Apply the paint continuously (using the “wet on wet” method), avoiding breaks in work. The drying time depends on the substrate, the temperature and the relative air humidity and is from ca. 2 to 6 hours. It also depends on the color intensity of the applied paint.
Important additional information
Painting works must not be carried out in high humidity and low temperatures, below +5 °C (with ATLAS ESKIMO below 0 °C), , conditions. Protect the painted surface against direct sunlight, wind, and precipitation both during works and during the paint drying. In adverse weather conditions, application of the third layer may be necessary to equalize the surface.
When painting fresh render, the façade must be protected with mesh from the start of plastering until 24 hours after finishing the painting. Fresh mineral plasters set for minimum 5 days in favorable conditions (the temperature above +5 °C, humidity below 65%). In adverse conditions, the setting time extends.
When painting old plasters, at least 48 hours of drying must be provided from the end of precipitation (the higher air humidity, the longer this time should be).
Failure to observe the manufacturer’s requirements concerning the substrate, usage, and façade protection can result to a natural phenomenon of discoloration and salt efflorescence.
Color uniformity of the painted surface depends largely on the dryness of the substrate.
In order to avoid differences in color shades, apply the paint of the same production date upon each individual surface.
As a result of painting, slight natural smoothing of the substrate texture occurs. Painting surfaces differing in surface structure and technological parameters can result the effect of various shades of the same paint color. |
 |
| The consumption depends, among other things, on the substrate absorbability and texture of the painted surface, and therefore it is recommended to determine the exact consumption experimentally.
For renders, the consumption is, respectively:
for ATLAS CERMIT SN, DR, and SN-MAL plasters – ca. 1 l of paint for 4.0 m2
for ATLAS CERMIT N and R plasters – ca. 1 l of paint for 4.5 m2
for ATLAS PLASERING MIX – ca. 1 l of paint for 7.0 – 8.0 m2. |

| Keep away from the reach of children! Negatively affects water organisms. Can cause long lasting adverse effects in water environment. Do not discharge into the sewage, and the product and its packaging must be safely disposed of. Avoid discharge into the environment. Proceed according to Specification Sheet. Based on computational classification, ATLAS FASTEL NOVA silicone paint - acts harmfully through air-passages; constitutes serious hazard to the health in the result of long exposition. The paint is marketed in the form of a paste - water suspension, so there is no possibility to inhale the dust. Following §15 of the Regulation of the Minister of Health of 2 September 2003 (Polish Journal of Laws No. 173, item 1679 with later amendments), supported by the opion of the Chemical Substances Office, labeling of the paint was renounced. |
